Plugin doesn’t let me set starting time at 9:45h

Hello, I’m in the Amelia setting panel and system doesn’t let me set the starting time at 9:45.

Our clients should only be able to book their lessons at 9:45h, 10:45h, 11:45h, 12:45h, 13:45h...we don’t start at the hour to avoid queues (see picture attached).

If I set time-slot "15 minutes" the system let me set starting time at 9:45h but then clients will be able to book as well at 10:00h, 10:15h...and that cannot happen. If I set time-slot “1 hour" to avoid this, then the system doesn’t let me to set starting time at 9:45h.

Could you please tell me how to solve this? It’s crucial for our business.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Sandra,

thank you for reaching outsmile.pngI apologize for the later response as we don't work on weekends.

To manage this, service duration needs to be 1 hour.

Then, go to Amelia > Settings > General, and set time slot step to 15 minutes as you did.

Then, right below, make sure that Use service duration for booking a time slot is on.

Now you will have 9:45  - 10:45 appointment, and the next one will start at 10:45.

Hi Ivana, I’m afraid it’s not solved. As you can see in the image attached, if I configure as you say, the plugin reduces the number of available slots.

Let’s imagine my client wants a 3h lesson and our working hours are: 9:45-16:45h:

-My current plugin lets the client choose: 9:45h, 10:45h, 11:45h, 12:45h and 13:45h.

-Amelia just shows: 9:45h-12:45 and 12:45-15:45h.  So if my client wants to start at 10:45h he is not allowed.

Is there a way to modify the code so I can set 1h slots and set starting time 9:45h? Otherwise Amelia plugin is useless for my company.

    Kindest Regards.

    Hi Sandra,

thank you for the kind reply!

I see; time slot step is time between appointments so we leave it at 15 minutes so that it would allow us to make x:45 start time.

You can uncheck the option for the service duration to be the distance between the slots, and set up buffer times that would take an hour instead.

These are the available slots now:

I have made another step beside what I've told you, I apologize - set 15 min time slot step so that we can have 9:45 start, then when 9:45 is set as start time changed back time slot step to 1h.

Are these the slots you wanted?smile.png
