a. How do we setup the email notifications to include the Zoom meeting information / link once someone has requested a virtual service?
b. If i include that link in the formatted notification email that everyone gets regardless if they schedule a in person service or virtual, everyone in those categories will get the zoom link.
Is there anyway to setup email notifications that are specific to the categories or is there a way to setup a code etc to accomplish: "determine if service location is virtual then show zoom link"
a. You can set up this in advance by adding the placeholder %zoom_join_url% into the Appointment Approved notification; so when the customer books an online appointment, they will receive booking confirmation and the link.
b. Only the person who booked the service that has Zoom connected to it, will receive the link in the notification when they book.
c. Again, this is done automatically; Amelia will recognize if the user booked an online service, and send the link if they did. If they book non online service, there will be no link in the email notification.
When you use "%zoom_join_url%" the predefined "Appointment Next Day Reminder" everything is working fine, but when you create a new Notification as a "Scheduled notification" the "%zoom_join_url%" tag doesn't work - it doesn't even appear in the notification email.
So something is wrong with new/added "Scheduled notifications" with a notification time specified as "Before...".
Howdy and grand rising, a couple of questions:

Hi there,
thank you for contacting.

Crazy question maybe but when I ran a test, I didn't get a link, only the placeholder showed up in the email
Zoom link (if applicable): %zoom_join_url%
There was no hyperlink for the client to click.
Hi there,
can you tell me which event did you test this on, so that I can test the same one?
I think that I know what DoQtor is talking about.
I found the same problem/bug.
When you use "%zoom_join_url%" the predefined "Appointment Next Day Reminder" everything is working fine, but when you create a new Notification as a "Scheduled notification" the "%zoom_join_url%" tag doesn't work - it doesn't even appear in the notification email.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi again Peter

Sorry for the inconvenience.
