I have purchased the paid version of amelia.

↓I'm having trouble connecting my Google calendar with this portal site.
    https://www.instabase.jp/

In order to solve this problem, I have updated the following two PHP files from the server's file manager, which were given to me by amelia's support, but the problem persists.
    ・GoogleCalendarService.php
    ・ActivationSettingsHook.php

When my work partners went through the same process, some of them were able to improve the problem while others were not. I don't know the cause of this.

The version of amelia is the latest 3.3.
    It also says version: 1.0.32.

Can you please tell me how to solve this problem?

    Hi, Mitsutaka,

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

If some of the Employees could connect their Google calendars and others couldn't (I hope I understood the problem correctly), then it's probably related to multiple tokens assigned to one Employee by Google. These tokens don't allow Employees to connect their calendars again.

Our developers are aware of this issue and they are working on a solution.

However, there’s only one way to fix it at the moment: Please go to wp_amelia_providers_to_google_calendar database table, where you will see multiple rows assigned to the same user ID. Delete all rows associated with the user ID, and you will be able to connect the employee again.

    Hope that will help.

    Best Regards.

    Thank you for your help.

I have a question about point ①、② below.

① I received the following answer the other day,

    access the wp_amelia_providers_to_google_calendar database table.

I don't know where this wp_amelia_providers_to_google_calendar database table is. Is it in the server's file manager?

②Also, these two PHP files that I received from amelia before to solve the problem of Google calendar linkage

    ・ GoogleCalendarService.php
    ・ ActivationSettingsHook.php

Is this a file compatible with the current amelia Ver.3.3? I would appreciate it if you could give me the latest version of the PHP file.

    Thank you.

    Hi, Mitsutaka,

    1. Yes, you should access your database. The easiest way to do it is to use the PhpMyAdmin plugin, so please check if it was installed on your site. If you have no limitations like special security settings, it should work. Otherwise, you will have to access your database through some other tool (most providers have them installed right in the hosting accounts).

It's not really a server's file manager but a server's control panel (probably we are talking about the same thing but with different words).

    2. These files should be compatible with Amelia 3.3...but I'm not sure I understand what these files are for. Could you please clarify? I didn't find an answer in your previous tickets.

    Best Regards.

    Thank you for your answer.

It's clear how to solve the problem you're having.

"Can I specify the Google Calendar data reserved by amelia as [confirmed] instead of [tentative]?"

This is because the portal site you are currently using reflects only [confirmed] in the Google Calendar reservation data. If it is [tentative], it will not be reflected.

I want to reflect my reservation on this portal site.

What was prepared by amelia to solve this is
    ・ GoogleCalendarService.php
    ・ ActivationSettingsHook.php
I think these two types of PHP files.

Some people can solve it by replacing this PHP file with the server's file manager, while others cannot. I am a person who has not been able to solve it.

    This is the situation now.

    Hello there.

I'm not sure why you're mentioning these files:

    ・ GoogleCalendarService.php
    ・ ActivationSettingsHook.php

They are a part of Amelia, and you should not be modifying those. All you need to do to connect Amelia with Google Calendar is explained in our documentation. Modifying the plugin's code is not recommended, and it is not supported, so we can't help you with that.

If you want to change the status from "tentative" to "confirmed", you need to go through the database again.

Please be careful when you update the table because if you delete or add anything else, it can cause the plugin not to work properly.

When you access your database via PHPMyAdmin (or some other tool), access the wp_options table:

    6172199762.png

It is possible that your prefix is not "wp_", but something else, so if that is the case, please look for the "your_prefix_options" table.

When you access it, you can search through the column "option_name". Search for the term "amelia_settings":

    9596326323.png

The search will return only one row, and you need to edit it:

In "option_value" column, search for "tentative":

    4150446597.png

Replace it with "confirmed", and that's it - all events created in your Google Calendar will be saved as Confirmed.

No, sorry, that's not working for me.

    Can you clone your website?

If yes - I'll ask you to install the Duplicator plugin. It will generate a couple of files which you can send me (along with the log-in credentials), and then I can create an exact copy of your website, see what the issue is and try to resolve it.

Please note that the files will be too large to attach to the ticket, so you can upload them via wetransfer.com and just send me the link.

Make sure to enable the Private response.
