Calculate with dynamic column sum

    Hi Team,

I consider buying a license for all your products, I worked with ninja tables before.
My question: It is crucial for me to be able to calculate with the sum value of a column even after filtering (updated sum value), can this somehow be achieved with your plugin, since this is not possible with ninja tables and I also was not able to achieve this in your sandbox demo. The column sum works and adjusted after filtering, but since it is a string I was in no way able to calculate with this value afterwards. I was alos not able to find a solution by adjusting the SQL code.

Please let me know if you could provide a solution.
    Look forward to it.
    Best regards,
    Marko

    Hi Marko

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The sum value will indeed be adjusted after filtering but please note that calculating sum is only available for numeric columns. So your column needs to be saved as float or integer for this function to work.

Do let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist.

Thank you for your answer. But unfortunately you did not get the point of my question at all.

Could you please read the text again. Look: It is not possible to do calculations with the sum value (Under the table) of a column at all. (It is a string) I need to do calculations with this updated value (after filtering) inside other columns of the table, so that the result is always dynamic.

I guess there are possibilities to achieve this, if so, which possibilities? I tried nearly everything possible inside the sandbox mode and with different SQL commands.

Before I buy a license I really need to know how this can be solved. I would also be willing to let this be solved with a customization job from your side.

Please let me know what you can do for me. Thank you.

    Best regards

    Hi Marko

    I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Unfortunately using formulas to activate calculation functions is not possible with the plugin's builtin features.

If you would like to see this in one of our future releases please take the time to leave your suggestion following this link and our developers will take it into consideration.

It probably can be done with some custom work, but our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in near future.

But we can recommend these services for customization:

    https://codeable.io/?ref=l1TW1

    https://wpkraken.io/?tms-plugins

They might develop such solutions, so can you please send your inquiry to them?
