    Hi,

I'm integrating Amelia with others applications and I'm extracting data from Amelia into other system using webhooks and reading from amelia DB.

I wanted to understand the difference between Appontments and Bookings and why their Ids differ ?

I'll appreciate if you can send me documentation or expain me those differences.

    Hi, Daniel,

Sorry for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.

And thank you for choosing Amelia.

Appointments and bookings are the same thing, so maybe you are referring to appointments and events?

Could you please provide us with a screenshot, so we will be able to avoid misunderstanding?

    Best Regards.

In the database, I see appointment and booking tables

And when someone cancel a booking and that booking is used by other customer, the appointment id and the booking id begin to have different values.

    Hi, Daniel,

    Thank you for the clarification.

I have to consult with our developers regarding this question.

I will get back to you as soon as I receive their response.

    Best Regards.

    Hi, Daniel,

    Sorry for the delay.

The appointment table is for the appointments, and the customer_bookings table is for all bookings (both appointments and events). Thus, if there is a group appointment it has one ID in the appointment table, and each customer has a separate customer booking and with its own ID in the customer_bookings table.

    Hope that will help.

    Best Regards.
