hello. 1. My issue is with the email notification, any email which will be sent to a customer, in the sender field shows from “book”...when obviously I want my company name. I’ll add a screenshot for you to see. How to fix it?
2. There are a few scheduled notifications, like “appointment next day reminder”. ‘follow up’ and “birthday email”, which has a note that a line of code has to be added to cron. I did asked my hosting company customer support to help me with it. But the message is still there. I figured it’s just a note. So basically the only way to see if it works, is to make a test appointment?
3. I don’t know how to test Stripe and PayPal . They are both in test mode now...but I really don’t know how to see if it works, if you can direct me to that information, I’ll be very grateful.
4. I want to know if that’s possible to add a PayPal button into a service follow up email for a tip, since I’m running fully online business and don’t have any other way of accepting it.
thank you,
I’ll have screenshots I referenced above attached to this email
1. You can set your company's name in Amelia -> Settings -> Notifications:
2. Yes, you are absolutely right, this message is added by default to provide the code example, it doesn't indicate the cron job status. Therefore, please test cron by booking a test appointment.
3. Please find Live credentials in your PayPal/Stripe account and enter them to the corresponding fields in Amelia -> Settings -> Payments:
After that, you should enable these payment methods for your Services in Edit Service -> Settings -> Payments:
4. At the moment Amelia doesn't support HTML format in notifications, that's why adding a button won't be possible yet (but we will implement HTML in one of the coming updates). So, the only way to achieve that is to create a tip jar and insert a link to it to notifications. We didn't test this solution yet but theoretically, it should work.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
I'm afraid, at the moment we have no option to collect this information automatically through the booking form.
Customers can add their birthdays through their profiles in the Customer Panel, or you can collect this information through a Custom field and then add it manually to the Customer's profile on the back-end (since Custom fields are being saved under Appointments and can't be added to Customers' profiles).
Also, you can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

hello!
Thank you for your response. How I can enable “birthday” field when they fill out the payment information?
Thank you
Hi, Yuliana!
Sorry for the delayed response.
