Plugin Conflict

    I am experiencing a conflict with the Gravity Forms plugin. wpDataTables works fine with Gravity Forms deactivated but is experiencing issues in the admin panel when Gravity Forms is enabled.

    When attempting to edit a setting for a table in wpDataTables, it is stuck on the "Data Source" Tab. When clicking the "Editing" tab or any other tab, nothing happens. I also tried to duplicate the table using the duplication icon and it is non-responsive.  Can you please recommend any potential solutions for this issue?

    Hi Court

    Thank you for reaching out to us. You can try this solution and let us know if you still have the same issue:

    In the file

    wp-content / plugins / wdt-gravity-integration / wdt-gravity-integration.php: 281

     You will find this

    wp_deregister_script ('gform_tooltip_init');

     and we replace it with this

    if (isset($_GET['page']) && (strpos($_GET['page'], 'wpdatatables') !== false))
        wp_deregister_script('gform_tooltip_init');

    This will be included in our next update so you don't have to worry about it braking again.

    Hello Blaženka,

    I appreciate your quick reply. The site does not have the wpt Gravity Integration add-on. It is the standard Gravity Forms plugin that is related to the issue. Do you have any other potential resolutions?

    Thank you,
    Court

    Hi Court

    Gravity Forms integration for wpDataTables is an add-on that requires wpDataTables and Gravity Forms plugins installed and activated on your WordPress website to be able to work.

    If you still have issues after installing this addon, please provide us with a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens and your FTP credentials, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party.

    You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Or enable Plugin Editor so we can investigate this further.

    Hello Blazenka,

    I am not trying to integrate the two plugins together. I am just trying to have each plugin perform its individual functions. Are you saying that wp Data Tables requires the add-on just to be able to function properly whenever Gravity Forms is installed on any Wordpress site?

    Thank you,

    Court
