When I use "define value list for a column" and ad in some values, it doesn't produce a drop down from which we can choose in the back end.
When I "add new entry" no drop downs appear
This was working a few days ago but now doesn't work.
Thanks
Martin Sims
Hello Martin
It can't work selectively, so if it worked before, it should work now.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Make sure to tell me which table ID this is, so I know where to look.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

BTW I disabled front end bootstrap as suggested in another support post but it doesn't seem to have cured the problem.
thx M
Hi again Martin.
I checked table #66, and saw that the editor type was "one-line edit", and the filter was "text". I changed both to "Single-value selectbox", and now the predefined values are shown both in the edit modal, and in the filter:
I also noticed you're still on wpDataTables v2.8.3, which is outdated. Please update the plugin to v3.4.3, as previous versions of the plugin are not supported and should only be used for testing purposes.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Many thanks Aleksandar. That solved the problem!
