We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi, is there any way to add an employee to multiple locations?
Hi Jonathan,
thank you for contacting us
Yes, you can attach employee to multiple locations, by creating work hours for them for each location.
For example 9am - 10am in location A, 12pm - 3pm in location B, etc.
This can be done in Amelia > Employees > Work Hours.
Hi Ivana,
Thanks for your reply.
We have entertainers that have flexible work hours and can work at different locations depending on where they get booked. We need them to be available in both locations at the same time so that the client can book them ( if they aren't already booked for that slot somewhere else.)
Does that make sense? Any way you could help me with this?
Hi Jonathan,
thank you for the kind reply
I would gladly provide an alternative if there was one; as advised, unfortunately, one employee cannot be present at the same time on multiple Locations, so this is not possible.
However, if entertainers are performing on the locations that a customer tells you, that can be done a bit differently. If you don't set up any Amelia Locations.
You can make a regular booking system, with employees and services, just delete locations.
Then, go to Amelia > Custom Field, and create a Custom Field Text. In the label of this field, you can write something like "your address" or "location address". Here the client can type in the address where they want the entertainer to perform.
In this way you wouldn't be bound by Amelia Locations, and your entertainers can perform each time slot appointment on a different address
This is not an official feature, just a bit of a workaround, I hope that it can work for you.
