    Hi

    I duplicated a couple of categories, which then duplicated their services. I cant edit any service after that, in old or the new categories. It just says "Please Wait" in the sidebar. 

    If I look in Console there are no errors. 

    If I look in the network tab, the data has in fact been returned to the page, the response is:

    {"message":"Successfully retrieved service.","data":{.......then all the data }}

    After about 5 minutes it loaded, even though the data is there returned.

    It seems to be only the services which were duplicated as part of duplicating the category. I had to delete the category, create a new one (not duplicate one), then duplicate the individual services from another category and assign to the new one.

    thank you for reaching out to us and for taking time to investigate the console, as wellsmile.png

    Duplicated items should be editable, and this was a bug that was fixed in our recent updates; please check if your Amelia is on version 3.3. 

    I was able to test this and I could duplicate and edit multiple services from the categories, so I would need to check your site.

    Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. 

    We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties. 

    You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    I couldn't replicate the issue unfortunately; I was able to open all services an categories, each did take 5-10 seconds to open but it opened and allowed me to edit.

    Thanks for looking, but did you duplicate a category? I have already deleted the category that was duplicated, and its services, and instead duplicated each service and not a category. So I already fixed it as per one of my replies below. So the current services all open OK, it was only services that were duplicated as part of a category duplication.

    So you are saying you cannot repeat the issue, it worked OK? 

    Well, I guess it may be a weird one off issue. As stated I fixed it by starting again but if you are saying its working OK for you, then I guess it will be too hard to find out the issue so guess close this issue, and I can raise it again if it happens again. But I dont think I will copy categories again.

    Hi Laurence,

    exactly, it worked smoothly for me when I entered your site.

    Please check about the cache - and in the meantime I will consult a developer what could this be about and how you can see where the error is. Because this is a feature Amelia provides, and you should be able to use it!smile.png

    What I can advise, but it can be a bit of a hassle and I would not like to bother you - you can try to open the duplicate to edit, and right click > Inspect.

    Then go to Console and see if there is any errors, or into Network tab and see if any line is red. If it is, click on it, and it will say if it's a non responsive server, internal error, etc. This can give a direct clue to the cause (however, again, as I cannot make the same thing happen, nothing comes up on my console).

    Hi Ivana

    I am a developer so quote familiar with Inspect. There were no errors in the Console. Also I made sure to clear all browser cache. We dont cache anything in the admin. 

    I will report it if happens again.
