i have a problem with changing an axisting booking in amelia. For example a customer booked a service and asks later to add another service (Extra), then i can't book it for the same time. Even if there is enough time after the termin. It always wants to book it like a new booking as if this already booked service is still booked and not available. Am i doing something wrong here?
I tested the scenario you explained and I could not recreate the issue.
Where these Appointments paid ones or they had an on-site payment method? Because if they were paid (no matter through which payment system), then these changes wouldn't be possible since there's no option to charge a Customer after a booking is complete.
thank you for your answer. I explain the problem for you. A customer books a Termin for lets say 09.00 and asks later for a extra. It is for a Cosmeticsalon. He booked mayme a facial and wants later a Eybrow shape with it. I have them programmed in Amelia in Extras. So i go in Amelia and add this extra feature, but then the already booked time disapears and i can't choose the same (09.00) time again. It gives me the time after the already arranged termin. I had this issue already a couple of times. When i completely delete the old termin (09.00) then i can select this time again. Is there anything i can do differently?
Sorry for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.
It should work the way you require without any additional settings.
The only thing is: are you sure there was nothing (maybe a busy slot in the Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar if you use these integrations) that could block the following time slot, so Extras became unavailable?
no there was no other bookings, also not in Outlook calendar. But if i book a termin myself in the backend, i always have to press the save button twice? Otherwise the booking is lost. Is there something wrong with my installation. It also happened, that booked treatments didn't appear in Outlook Calendar. How can i check that everything is correct with my installation of Amelia?
Could you please provide us with temporary WP Admin access, so we will look into the issue from the inside? You can post the credentials as a reply to this ticket, just make sure you use private mode.
We don't interfere with any data except for the plugin and, of course, we don't provide login details to a third party.
I received a response from our developer: The appointment needs to be canceled first. Once you cancel the appointment, you will be able to edit it, add the extra, and then save it - it should work like that.
