We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello, I have been using your plugin for a few months and everything is ok except I have an issue regarding timezones.
I noticed some of my foreign clients living in Italy have had their e-mail reminders show a different time from the one I receive.
e.g. my reminder says "...31 Maggio 2021 at 08:40 ...." whilst my client's says "31 Maggio 2021 02:40 ...."
I suppose because their computer is set on a different timezone.
Is there a way to solve this issue? I have enabled "show booking slots in client time zone"
thanks
Hi, Serpieri!
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
Yes, you are absolutely right: your Customers might see booking slots in incorrect time zone due to the time zone settings in their operating systems.
I'm afraid, the only way to avoid misunderstanding at the moment is to add the %time_zone% placeholder to the Appointment Pending/Approved notification template. So, once a Customer receives a notification, he/she will see the time zone of the booked slot, and if it's incorrect, they will be able to reschedule it.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Best Regards.
Hello, thank you for your kind reply. I did as you said but today after uprading my amelia package it seems like %time_zone% placeholder has been removed. so now i see the literal string in my confirmation mail.
thanks in advance for letting me know (see screenshot)
ciao
Hi, Serpieri,
Please note that to make this placeholder work you have to book an appointment on the front-end. If you book appointments from the back-end, at the moment it's not possible to indicate the customer's time zone.
If that doesn't help, please provide us with temporary WP Admin access, so we will look into the issue from the inside. You can post the credentials as a reply to this ticket, just make sure you use private mode.
We don't interfere with any data except for the plugin and, of course, we don't provide login details to a third party.
Best Regards.
yes thanks i updated to the latest version yesterday and now it works.
ciao
