    hello,

Using the free version of Amelia, I don't receive email confirmation when I booked an item. Should I pay to have this functionnality ?

Thank you for your help !

    Hi, Tiphaine!

    Thank you for your inquiry.

With Amelia Lite, you can only use Approved and Pending notifications, other types of email notifications are not supported.

If you are referring to these types of notifications, then probably the settings in Amelia -> Settings -> Notifications are not correct. Please try to send test Notifications with the PHP service. We don't recommend to use it since it's not reliable, but it's the most suitable one for testing.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi, Tiphaine,

    Yes, sure:

    - events displayed on calendar ? - Yes, Events have the Calendar view, you can check how it works on our demo site.

    - email confirmation to subscriber after booking an event ? - Yes, there are email notifications for Booked Events in Amelia.

    - export datas in csv, pdf, ... ? - At the moment, data can be exported only in CSV format.

    - online payment (via credit card - any commissions?) - There are the following payment methods available: Stripe, PayPal, WooCommerce integration and Mollie integration (so. all the payments systems included in Woo and Mollie payment getaways are also available in Amelia). Tere are no additional charges aka commission from Amelia's end.

    - Do people can book group events ? (like booking activities plugin does) - Yes, Customers can book group Appointments and Events as well. You just have to set the Capacity of these Events to 2+.

    - automatic notifications sent to subscriber (by sms or email) before event (like eventbrite does) ? - At the moment it's possible to send a reminder only the day before the event or appointment. However, we will add a custom notifications feature to the next update. With this feature, it will be possible to set notifications to any time you wish.

Regarding the Packages of Services: it is a feature that allows creating packages of multiple appointments (of the same or different services). In that case, the services that are included in the package and the number of appointments will be fixed, and the price will be set for the whole package. You can see more information here. Please note that the Packages feature is only available for Amelia Pro and Developer licenses. Also,  only Appointments support Packages at the moment.

    Best Regards.

I'd like to mention that we have a 15 days money-back guarantee, which means you can purchase Amelia Basic, test it, and if it turns out Amelia doesn't fit your business, you can request a money refund within 15 days after the purchase.

    Best Regards.

    Hi, Tiphaine,

Sure, no worries, you can ask as many questions as you want until you have none left, that's why I'm heresmile.png

    1. Amelia does have sync with G Cal. However, please note that it works not fully 2 ways but 1.5 ways: Appointments from Amelia are being transferred to the G Cal, but busy slots in G Cal are not being transferred to Amelia (they only become unavailable for booking in Amelia). That's why if you want your Employees to book Appointments through G Cal, it won't work, unfortunately.

    2. Yes, if you add your Employees as Amelia Employees, they won't have access to WP back-end. Also, they can access Amelia from the front-end through the Employee panel.

    Best Regards.

Ok, so the option 2 could be great. Is that work for events as well ?

    I explain the project :

there will be a calendar displayed  for multiple activities (such as workshops). Some workshops are organized by differents intervenants. The website's owner would like each intervenant shedules his own workshop by himself on the calendar directly (for time-saver)

    Is that work ?

    Tiphaine,

    Thank you for the clarification.

    1. I have to mention that G Cal integration doesn't work with Events, only with Appointments.

    2. Yes, the Employee panel will be suitable in this case. At the moment there's one limitation: Employees can't add new Customers or Employees to Amelia, but I'm not sure how important it is for your business.

Also, you can see how the Employee panel works on our demo site

    Best Regards.

    Hello Liza,

I would like to know, when people subscribes to an event, is there a membership option ? I mean : does people have to register to cancel (for example) their participation to an event ?

Other part ; what about statistics for events ? On Dashboard, I only see statistics for appointments. Is it possible to change the dashboard ? How many days Amelia keep statistics (in order to assess results )

Thank you for your reply !

    Tiphaine,

    1. Events and Appointments can be cancelled through a link in email notifications. However, if you want your Customers to be able to see and/or reschedule their appointments and events, you should add the front-end Customer panel or allow them to access their profiles on the back-end.

    2. Unfortunately, at the moment it's not possible to change to display Events statistics on the dashboard since Events have different logic in Amelia: they are not necessarily assigned to Employees, and their availability doesn't depend on Employees' working hours, etc.

The data for this statistics is being stored in the database, and Amelia only represents it through graphs, therefore it can be accessed at any time, there's no limit.

    Best Regards.
