We need the address and other data also to tranfer to WP user profile. At the moment it seems that when the Amelia customer WP user is created, no data except name and email is transferred to the WP user profile.

Can the data be tranferred also to the WP user profile?

Also is it possible to add address as a mandatory info on customer profile?

I can easily add it to the appointment booking, but not on the customer profile.

    Hi, Jarno!

Sorry for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.

Unfortunately, at the moment information collected with Custom fields can be saved only under the Appointment modal. It can't be added to a Customer's profile.

This feature is on our to-do list for future updates. However, you can speed the process up by submitting a request on our website.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Best Regards.

    Hi,

this seems somewhat odd to me that the only customers details doesn't include phone number or address.

    Or did I misunderstood something?

    Jarno,

Yes, it might be a bit complicated for some businesses that the Customer profile's info is limited to the name, email address, and phone number.

I forwarded your request to our developers, and hopefully, they will be able to add more fields to the Customer profile in one of the coming updates.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Best Regards.

Hi, I posted a feature request on this matter.

To me it seems quite easy to add these fields and I hope that this issue could be fixed in the near future.

aPlease please please could this be integrated. After months of helping a client set up their driving school bookings on Amelia with packages to automate their business they are now  very frustrated that they have to fill out address fields every single time they make a booking (via admin or the client booking front end). I have set up custom fields and made those "required" which they need but it also means every single time an employee books a client they are also required to fill in all those details again. Autocomplete would be a lifesaver if the client is already a WP user and when selected the profile fills out the rest of the fields.

    Hello Jarno and Stephenie.

Thank you for adding this to our feature request list.

Until we add custom fields that are related to the user, instead of the appointment, this will not be made possible. I just submitted the entire ticket to our management, and they'll update the development team on this.

Hopefully, this will be sped up in the upcoming weeks, so hopefully the custom fields for customers will be added by the end of Q1, 2022. I can't promise anything, as our team develops features based on the number of customer requests, but I certainly hope that the traffic on this ticket will speed it up a bit.

    Kind Regards,

I found a work around for this problem.

Now I also understand why this hasn't been implemented. The problem is that WP user profile does not have all the data in it. The contact details and other data are stored in wp_usermeta table.

I used the WP Webhooks Pro plugin to create a flow from Amelia booking to update user profiles metadata with the inputs in Amelia.

This still does not help on Stephenies' problem thou.

    Hi again Jarno

wp_usermeta table is being populated by the data added to the WordPress user, while Amelia stores everything in its own tables, so when something is changed for customers or employees, it's written directly in "wp_amelia_users" table. If it's the Employee profile that is being changed, necessary data is also added in corresponding "wp_amelia_provider_" tables.

We will work on custom fields that will be linked directly to the customer, not to the appointment (as it is the case now), but I don't have an ETA on that yet.

    Hi,

My problem is directly related that Amelia uses different tables than WP/WC. We want to deliver WC orders based on the data that the customer has entered on their booking.

But as I mentioned the WP Webhooks Pro plugin enables me to copy the booking data to the WP user profile when the booking is confirmed.
