I have set up the service and linked it to my one on one product in woocommerce but when I click add to cart, it simply just adds to cart, and doesn't prompt any booking. If I try to checkout it takes me to checkout and doesn't prompt booking.
Also, I have to mention that WooCommerce integration works only as a payment getaway. Thus, the entire booking process should be held by Amelia, and only the payment goes through WooCommerce. Therefore, some of Woo's features like a cart or Woo login aren't available through the integration.
Hello - thank you, yes I did follow the instructions.
The problem I am having is when you click add to cart, there is nothing that prompts booking.. I have had to create a separate page for my bookable products and have had to redirect all add to cart buttons to that page, which is not ideal.. Is this the only way that Amelia works or should clicking add to cart on a product prompt the booking system?
The thing is, the Add to cart option doesn't work with Amelia.
In Amelia, if you use Woo integration, then all the booking steps are being made in Amelia, and once the booking form is completed and it's time for checkout, the Appointments aka Product is being re-directed to the cart automatically, and after that, it's also being re-directed to the checkout page.
So, there's no option to add Appointments/Events to the cart manually.
Thanks, however, when you press add to cart on a product, should it not prompt the amelia booking system? Right now when I press add to cart, it just adds the product to the cart and does not prompt booking. How do people use Amelia, do we have to create our own manual catalogues/product pages?
No, it works vise versa: a Customer opens the booking page with Amelia, picks an appointment, fills the booking form, and then after clicking on the "Continue" button he/she is getting redirected to a cart, and then - to checkout.
If you enable WooCommerce integration, a new product "Appointment" is created. It's a default product, you can use it for all the services and events, or you can create your own ones as well.
You can find more details on how to get the integration to work here.

Hi, Cara!
Thank you for choosing Amelia.
Please make sure that you followed our documentation while setting WooCommerce integration up: https://wpamelia.com/woocommerce-integration/
