Hello. Im trying to add a placeholder cancel link in the email which is received when my clients are booking an appointment.
I 've created a page which it says " Your cancellation has been completed" and I've added it into the "Cancel Appointment Link" but it doesn't get cancelled.(attached)
If i let the link as it is it works perfectly but it directs my clients at my homepage and i dont want this.
Do you maybe have Customer Panel configured? If you do, the cancellation URL placeholder will take your customers to the panel, where they need to manually cancel the appointment from the list.
If you don't have the Customer Panel configured, this could be a bug we haven't encountered yet, so in that case, please provide me a temporary wp-admin (administrator) user, so I can log in, and take a look.
Please note that this is a public ticket, so make sure to enable the PRIVATE response when pasting credentials.
Tell me, do emails work for you? I booked an appointment for June 8th, and never got an email. Interestingly enough, though, the TEST email works fine. I wasn't able to replicate the issue locally, so it might be an isolated issue, but please test this by booking an appointment from the front-end (using incognito mode), and let me know if emails work for you or not.
There was a space in the hyperlink, so " %appointment_cancel_url%" instead of "%appointment_cancel_url%". This could lead to the cancellation URL redirecting the customers to the home page instead of the cancellation URL page since URL's can't recognize spaces.
The plugin doesn't allow you to add the direct URL to the cancellation page, as that is only a page that contains the message that the plugin has been canceled. There's more to that placeholder, and it includes the actual cancellation command.
So, if you want to add the actual address (https://www.bootcampfitnesstudio.gr/cancelled/), when you add it, select it with your mouse, and then click on the chain icon in the top menu. That creates a hyperlink, and the link behind it should not be an actual link, but %appointment_cancel_url%, so like this:

Hello,
still doesn't work.
Could you please login with the passwords that i provided to you and fix it?
Thank you.
Hi again Konstantinos
You left the wrong URL in Amelia Settings/Notifications/Successful Cancellation Redirect URL
I changed it to https://www.bootcampfitnesstudio.gr/cancelled/, so it should work fine now. Please check and let me know.
