this plug-in was bought on envato market. it is no longer updating. The plug-in was bought by an agency that we are no longer use. I just bought a 1 year subscription but its not working. I guess its because the original plug-in was bought on envato market. The only option to buy from envato is $299
You say the original licence was purchased on Envato, which is not an annual subscription-based purchase code, but instead, a lifetime purchase with support limited to 6 months after purchase. So, you are still entitled to all updates of the plugin, as it's a lifetime license.
Because Envato's API is limited to linking 3 requests per second you will probably need to click on "Activate with Envato" a few times until the license is activated, but once it is activated, it will stay active and you will be able to update the plugin through the Plugins page.
I can see that this licence was purchased from TMS store so you will need to activate your licence in order to use it.
To activate the licence you need to enter the purchase code that you have received in your email after the purchase from our store in the Activation tab, wpDataTables setings. If you cannot find this email please follow the next instructions:.

There is no need to make another purchase through Envato, the plugin will work regardless of where the installation file was obtained.
