Our Employee and the person who booking getting Calader notification by email but cal.ics file body is empty. We needed to the zoom conference details and some other details as well. we couldn't find any details about it. Please let us know how to add data to cal.ics file. Please find the attachment for your reference.
The ics file is configured through /wp-content-plugins-ameliabooking/src/Application/Services/Booking/IcsApplicationService.php file. If you modified that file, maybe you did it incorrectly, and it's not working anymore.
Please tell me what you want to include in the file, and I'll reach out to our developers, to see how it can be added.
Thanks for your quick reply, My Boss needed to add thanking message and zoom meeting login details into the ical.ics file. when someone received it by email when they open it, there are should be thanking message and the zoom meeting login link. I hope you understood my issue. Please find the attachment for your reference. we are getting ical file empty. we need to fill it as per the attachment. how can I do it?
Something like this needs to be added through the code, but I don't know exactly how, so I forwarded the ticket to one of our developers.
He tried to add it for you during the day, but he needs more time. He promised he will send you the corrected files next week, so I'll get back to you when I hear from him.
Unfortunately, our developers still haven't had the chance to add this, but I just reminded them. They will look into it as soon as they have some time, so I hope it will be resolved in the near future.
Hi Aleksandar, never heard you for a while, Any update on my issue, how long will take to fix this issue. My boss asked me if you can provide me a timeline to fix this issue he would be really grateful.
As far as I can see, this hasn't been added to the plugin yet, but our lead developer is on a vacation until Thursday, so I'll ask him as soon as he gets back, and I'll let you know.
Hi, I have the exact same issue. As the owner an appointment gets added to my calendar with all the data configured in the event description field in Amelia Settings - Integrations - Google Calendar.
A booker gets an email notification with all data configured in Amelia Notifications - Client notifications. That's fine, BUT the calendar appointment that's attached to the email notification ical.ics AND the calendar appointment that the booker can add to their calendar right after booking, doesn't contain any of that information. That doesn't make sense to me. Can't the same info be added to the calendar appointment?
The ICS file doesn't pull all the data as Google Calendar integration does.
At the moment, you can add stuff through the database. For example, you can add the URL to a Zoom meeting but please note that it will come up as HTML:
So, it's a bit ugly, but at least it works.
To do that, you need to access the wp_options table in your database, and in there search for "amelia_settings" in the "option_name" column. It will return one row, so you need to edit it. Look for “ics” and you'll see this:
This is another vote for a fix for this issue. Our Zoom meetings are scheduled outside of Amelia, so I'm placing the link and information in the confirmation e-mail. It would be MUCH more helpful to have that info in the calendar invite. At this point people need to go back and find their confirmation e-mail in order to figure out where to go for their meeting. This is really poor UX. Especially since the customer panel also apparently doesn't show the event description.

Hello Suneth
Thank you for your purchase.
How did you try to modify the file?

Modify the appointment, so it looks like this:
And that's it.
We'll work on a better solution in the future.
So, at this time, after "appointment", you need to add the data you need in quotes. Another example:
I hope that helps.

We will forward it to our developers.
We're working on a lot of things in Amelia right now, so I hope this will be included as well.
