How did you try to modify the file?

The ics file is configured through /wp-content-plugins-ameliabooking/src/Application/Services/Booking/IcsApplicationService.php file. If you modified that file, maybe you did it incorrectly, and it's not working anymore.

Please tell me what you want to include in the file, and I'll reach out to our developers, to see how it can be added.

Something like this needs to be added through the code, but I don't know exactly how, so I forwarded the ticket to one of our developers.

He tried to add it for you during the day, but he needs more time. He promised he will send you the corrected files next week, so I'll get back to you when I hear from him.

As far as I can see, this hasn't been added to the plugin yet, but our lead developer is on a vacation until Thursday, so I'll ask him as soon as he gets back, and I'll let you know.

The ICS file doesn't pull all the data as Google Calendar integration does.

At the moment, you can add stuff through the database. For example, you can add the URL to a Zoom meeting but please note that it will come up as HTML:

So, it's a bit ugly, but at least it works.

To do that, you need to access the wp_options table in your database, and in there search for "amelia_settings" in the "option_name" column. It will return one row, so you need to edit it. Look for “ics” and you'll see this:

"ics":{"description":{"appointment":"","event":"","translations":{"appointment":null,"event":null}}}

Modify the appointment, so it looks like this:

"appointment":"Zoom Join: %zoom_join_url%"

And that's it.

We'll work on a better solution in the future.

So, at this time, after "appointment", you need to add the data you need in quotes. Another example:

{"appointment":"Customer: %customer_full_name%, Customer email: %customer_email%",event":null}
