Hello, I am having issues connectioning a separate DB connection on wpDataTables to my SQL (MySQL 5.7) hosted on GCP. I had no issues doing so with an SQL from digital ocean, but it appears GCP is a bit harder. I have created a username specifically for my site connection, and am using the correct credentials, and have even added my website's IP to my allowed connections in GCP SQL settings.

I don't believe wpDataTables will be able to connect to GCP. It is basically a platform, not a separate database, so I don't know if you would be able to provide details just for the database of GCP.
At the moment, you can only connect MySQL, MSSQL and PostgreSQL databases with wpDataTables. I will reach out to our developers again, but I don't believe there's a solution for this, unfortunately.
