We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
Is there any option to track history of table editing (any how)? Who changed what and when?
Is there a way to allow table editing but disable adding new rows or deleting existing rows?
Thanks,
Edin
Hello Edin
Thank you for your purchase.
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
The data is automatically modified in the database, so there's no secondary table that would save all previous entries.
In the Editing tab above the table, you can choose which editing options (buttons) will be available on the page, so if you select only "Edit" from that dropdown, "Add new" and "Delete" will not be seen.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksandar,
I dont see option on Editing screen to have just Edit button function? Which exactly screen are you refering to?
Hello Edin.
How did you create a table?
If the table is editable, it was either imported, created manually or based on an SQL query. There, in the menu above the table, there's an Editing tab:
From there you need to copy the name from the database, and create a new table.

Hi Aleksandar,
I have main table that is created manually and is editable. What do you mean by “creating another table”?
thanks,
Edin
Sorry about that, Edin, wrong ticket
The available buttons are in the bottom:
If you don't see this, you probably haven't updated the plugin to the latest version, so make sure you're on v3.4.3.
