Hi, Amelia does not seem to be working. I have had many clients over the past 3 days say they have not been able to book an appointment with me because they cannot access my booking calendar on my website. They say the blue loading hour glass doesn't fully load and give them access to my calendar to book a session. Please help as I have lost business as a result of clients not being able to book. Thanks, Justin
First, please check your Employees list. If you find an Employee with a blank First or Last name, please edit this Employee, since it can cause this problem.
Also, in case you made some changes: please make sure that Employees have their working hours scheduled and services are assigned to the employees.
If that doesn't help, please provide us with a temporary WP Admin login, so we will be able to look into the issue from the inside. You can post credentials as a private reply to this ticket.
Hi Liza, Thank you so much for helping with this. I am the only employee and my hours seem to be correct but I noticed I am marked as "Away." Maybe this could be it? How do I change that? Thanks!
Basically, the "away" status doesn't change anything, it's just a status that indicates to the Admin if the Employee is working, free, or away at the moment.
Could you please provide us with temporary WP Admin access, so we will look into the issue from the inside? You can post the credentials as a reply to this ticket, just make sure you use private mode.
We don't interfere with any data except for the plugin and, of course, we don't provide login details to a third party.
Thank you for the credentials. However, I'm afraid, the user that you created for us doesn't have Admin permissions. Could you please change the role to the WP Admin one?
Hi Liza, I had a client today who told me that at 4:15pm PST she was not able to book a session with me using Amelia. I'm not too sure if that was before or after your last message, but just in case. Thanks,
Hi, she was unable to make a booking for any day or time on my website because it wouldn't stop loading. I have had many clients tell me the same thing over the past few days. Please help.
Sorry for this inconvenience. Can't you see the private comment below?
Then I will re-post it as a public one but just without a screenshot:
The problem is that something on the site stops Amelia from loading.
It can be caused by a conflict with another plugin. So, please disable all other plugins except for Amelia and refresh the booking page. If that helps, please start activating plugins one by one until you find the problematic one.
Also, please make sure that your PHP version is 7+.
PS When I open a booking page in Edit mode and click on "Preview", the booking form displays correctly (please see the attachment below), which means the settings are correct and the issue is coming from some other plugin or WP itself.
I deleted all of the plugins and clients are still saying they are not able to book on my website:-o
Please help!
This is a big problem. I am the busiest I have been in my career and my booking software is not working. I did everything you told me to do. I am losing clients and revenue. What can I do?
If you cannot help me please connect me to your supervisor. I am stressing here. I've had this problem for 2 weeks now. Why isn't Amelia working?!?!
Thanks for your response, I'm in touch with my hosting company now. I have gotton very busy and would like to up my game. Please let me know a few things:
1) Does Amelia interface with Classpass?
2) Clients have not been able to book on the same day or a few hours/ minutes before the desired appointment time. How can I allow clients to book up until the appointment time?
This is what my hosting company said: "I checked the server end logs for your concern, however, there is no logs for the issue you are referring to. As this is happening for some clients only, it could be issue with the browser they are using, because of the browser extension missing. I would also suggest you to try different PHP version to see if that helps."
Justin, I'm experiencing the same problem. I'm waiting for an answer too. The work around for me was to have the visitor NOT logged in, but to use the same email address they use for their profile. Hope this helps in the meantime!
I will send your case back to our developers. However, I doubt that what your provider's support says is correct.
1) Does Amelia interface with Classpass? - We don't have integration with Classpass at the moment. But it depends on your requirements: Amelia has webhooks that can send info about each booking to another tool. So, if you want data to be transferred from Amelia to Classpass then it can be achieved with webhooks. Otherwise, if you need 2 ways integration, it can probably be achieved with some custom work.
2) Clients have not been able to book on the same day or a few hours/ minutes before the desired appointment time. How can I allow clients to book up until the appointment time? - Yes, you can set the Minimum time required before booking to 1h, 10 mins or even disable it in Amelia -> Edit Service -> Settings:
The booking page was created in HTTP, and you probably need to add some redirection, so it's handled over HTTPS. If you try this URL: https://justinsmassage.com/book/ the booking form will show (broken, due to the styles, but it will show).
Thus, you need to handle this on your end - Amelia is working fine.
As for the broken styles, please open to Amelia -> Customize and hit Reset and Save, and that should correct the behavior.

Hi Liza,
Ok, I changed it to Admin. It's still the same username and password.
I just had another client tell me she could not book on my website and kept getting the loading icon. Eek! Please help:-o
Hi, Justin!
Please check the booking page again and tell me if it works now.
PS I created a draft page (Amelia Test) in order to test the shortcodes without messing with your Live page.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, Justin!
Does that mean that the time slot wasn't available at all or she couldn't proceed with a booking?
Best Regards.
Hi, she was unable to make a booking for any day or time on my website because it wouldn't stop loading. I have had many clients tell me the same thing over the past few days. Please help.
Hi, Justin,
Could you please check again?
I re-entered the shortcode, so it seems working now.
Best Regards.

Hi, Justin,
I forwarded your case to our developers since I can't find what is blocking Amelia.
I will get back to you at the earliest possible time.
Thank you

Hi, Ashley!
I'm afraid your case is different from Justin's one.
Due to security policy, I can't respond to him publicly, that's why my answer is not visible to other users.
I see that your ticket was assigned to my colleague. I hope that the issue will be resolved as soon as possible.
Best Regards.

Hi, Justin!
I'm back with some updates.
Your provider probably viewed the home page, where there are no errors. The booking page is on http://justinsmassage.com/book/ (so it's HTTP), and your home page (and your back-end) is on https://justinsmassage.com/
