Hi,
1. I am unable to add an existing wordpress user as a new Employee on Amelia. I am getting the following error message: "This email already exists."
2. I am not able to select the user from the existing list of wordpress users also. The message is "No Matching data"
I tired to grant the role of "Amelia Employee" to the user , but still i cannot add the new employee on Amelia.
I cannot delete the wordpress user and re-add her because the history of her wordpress/woocommerce transaction with us will lost.
Please guide me how to add existing wordpress users as Employee. I have to add 12 of such users who have been old woocommerce customers with us on our wordpress site for different courses, and now are joining in as Employees.
Thank you & kind regards
Roshan
Hello Roshan
This user is added as both Amelia Customer and Amelia Employee, which is not allowed. The user's email is stored in the database, and is most likely already saved as a customer in Amelia/Customers - that's why you're not able to add this user as an Amelia Employee, nor are you able to link this employee to an existing WordPress user.
You will need to delete the customer associated with this user, and also to remove the "Amelia Customer" user role, since it can cause issues for the employee due to capabilities of these user roles.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
