We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Services and "Minimum Capacity"

    Dear Amelia-support-team,

I just noticed that the "Minimum Capacity" setting of the services has no effect on the booking process...

For example I have made a service that reqiure at least 2 persons for it to be started (Min Capacity == 2) but it is still possible to make a single booking and not to bring anyone with you.

Maybe I'm missing something here, does this work as intended?

    Kind regards
    Henrik

    Hi, Henrik!

    Sorry for the delayed response.

Are your services group services or they can be booked by separate people?

At the moment, if you set capacity to minimum 2 and maximum 4 attendees, it can work in Amelia only if it's a group appointment, in other words when the "Allow booking below minimum capacity" option is disabled in Amelia -> Settings -> Appointments. If this option is enabled, appointments become available for multiple bookings at the same time slot, but also the minimum capacity settings aren't being applied anymore (that's why an appointment can be booked by one person even if the minimum capacity is set to 2).

You can suggest that as a feature request here, or check if this request was already submitted and vote for it.

    Best Regards.
