I can't find a way to edit the list of tags in our events menu to remove old tags that we no longer need or edit ones that are misspelled or incorrect.  The list keeps growing and growing, becoming more confusing to our employees as to what tags they need to use.

We use these tags as shortcodes to display these events on pages, so the tags are critical to what's displayed on the pages.  So we'd like to be able to edit them and keep the list cleaned up.

    Hi, Jason!

    Sorry for the delayed response.

And thank you for choosing Amelia.

Could you please send us the URL to the page with Events where the tags should be hidden?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

We aren't trying to hide tags from a page, we want to remove tags that are in the available list of tags when creating the event.

For instance, in the attached screenshot, this list of tags pops open as we add the event tags and we want to remove some of the tags we no longer need in that list like:  "CakeMaker"  and  "BLCBootyLegCardio"

    Hi, Jason!

    Thank you for the clarification.

At the moment, it's not possible to delete the tags in Amelia, it can be achieved only from the database. But this option will be added to one of the coming updates.

At the moment, we can access your database and delete the tags from there, or guide you on how to do it. Please let me know which solution you find more suitable.

    Best Regards.

Thanks for your reply.  I'm pretty skilled, so if you tell me how to access this database I can likely make the changes myself.

    Jason,

    That's really good.

I will contact our developers, so they will explain what exactly should be done for that.

Please note that we don't work on weekends, so I will be able to get back to you on Monday.

    Best Regards.

    Hi, Jason!

Our developer said you can find the tags in wp_amelia_events_tags table in the database.

    Hope that will help.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Best Regards.

This is disappointing.  I have the same issue and find it very unfortunate that the administrator cannot edit the tags in the tag list.  Please advise via my private ticket.
