There are no plans to include actual maps in the plugin, and I haven't run into any maps plugins whose shortcode would work with wpDataTables.
The only thing I can recommend is using long and lat from the database, and link to an external site with a CONCAT function, as described in our video here:
I was wondering if they are plan to add map feature so it would show the route based on the long and lat recieved from database or google sheet?

oh that's very creative! I'm trying to have it where the long and lat show a route of an object throughout the map so it shows exactly where it went.
seems like I need postgis for postgres (which i've already installed) but a map that could take those data and render it into wordpress.
If I come across anything i will share it :)
