So, I was checking out the plugin from someone who bought it. I saw that under roles> customer> there is option for automatic creation for credentials when you book appointment and also amelia supports woo integration. The woo is somehow affecting amelia and vice versa. If the automated credential button is switched off then how someone is supposed to register an account in amelia?
First of all, I'd like to mention that Woo is being used as a payment getaway in Amelia. Some of Woo's features like Customer's logins or a cart are not available through this integration.
Amelia Customer is created when the customer books an appointment or an event from the front-end. If you want them to also have the "Amelia Customer" WordPress user, you can enable "Automatically create Amelia Customer user". If you don't want your Customer to have access to the wp-admin, you can create the front-end Customer panel and give them access to it. There they will be able to see their bookings and manage them (if you give them certain permission).
By default, Customers can make bookings without being logged in to WP or the Customer panel, so if you don't want to give them access to your WP or Customer panel at all, it's also gonna work.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Can you elaborate more on these two? I am in a contradictory confusion.
You said If you want them to also have the "Amelia Customer" WordPress user, you can enable "Automatically create Amelia Customer user".

How do you give them amelia customer wordpress user permission?
And why a customer can see wp-admin??
If a customer books an appointment, the credentials for login are mailed.
I want to understand where a customer books an appointment and when they get credentials, they login right. And when they do they can see their dashboard? So while booking they're logged out but manually when they login they get to see their dashboard?????
There are two ways for Customers to access WP: from the back-end and from the front-end.
1. If you want them to be able to access it from the back-end, in other words, to have access to wp-admin page, then you should enable the "Automatically create Amelia Customer user" option.
If you don't want them to access the back-end, then you can disable the "Automatically create Amelia Customer user" option, and create the front-end Customer Panel. Thus, they will be able to see and manage their bookings from the front-end. You can see how the front-end Customer Panel works here: https://healthcare.wpamelia.com/customer-panel/
Anyways, for booking Customers don't have to be logged in. Bookings can be done through booking forms on your site. But if you want your Customers to be able to see their bookings and reschedule them, then you can provide them with log-ins (to the back-end Customer dashboard or to the front-end Customer Panel).
Please let me know if you have any other questions.

How do I create a front-end customer panel? by enabling the customer panel? But how do they log in if they don't have an account to log in?
You should add the %customer_panel_url% placeholder to the Appointment Approved notification, so once a new Customer books an Appointment, he/she will receive a Notification with a link (that the placeholder will be replaced with). This link will take a Customer to the page where he/she will be able to set a password and after that access the Panel.
he/she will receive a Notification with a link (that the placeholder will be replaced with). This link will take a Customer to the page where he/she will be able to set a password and after that access the Panel.
So do I add the ameliacustomerpanel shortcode in the placeholder? will the shortcode take me to the set password page?
Yes, it will. This placeholder is a token, so once a new Customer clicks on this link, Amelia recognized him/her as a new User and links him/her to the page for password setting.
I mention that because I want to emphasize that you should test the Customer Panel by booking a new appointment with an email address that was never used in Amelia before, being logged out of your Admin User. In other words, you have to imitate the situation when a new Customer books the first appointment. Only then the links will work correctly.
So, I was going through the zoom integration. I want to use the zoom for all the employees and customers. What happens when an employee and customer join the link? So for every zoom meeting, do they get the same link? That'd be bad. Each customer should join privately with their consultant right? So does zoom support this?
In Amelia, a new Zoom link is created for each Appointment or Event. So, these links are unique. The only thing is that there are only two types of links: one is for the host aka Employee and one is for attendees aka Customers. So if you have group meetings, each attendee will receive the same link. But usually, it doesn't cause any issues since the host sees who joins the meeting.
Also please note that only one Zoom account can be integrated with Amelia, so each Employee should be added as a User under this account. It might be not the best solution if your business requires simultaneous calls.
If someone makes an appointment with a doctor via zoom. That person is supposed to get a link that connects with the doctor. Now, 10 people are looking for different doctors, each gets a different link to connect with the doctor. There won't be group meetings. But different meetings with each doctor to customer. So, in this case what do you suggest?
If all these calls are supposed to take place simultaneously, then it might be hard to achieve in Amelia, since, as I mentioned, only one Zoom account can be connected. probably Zoom has some advanced pan that would allow multiple users under the same account to have simultaneous calls, but we don't know about it. A simple business account doesn't have this option. But it's better to check that with Zoom.
If all these calls are going to happen at different time slots, then since one Appointment can have only one service performer assigned, all 10 appointments will be separate appointments, so there should be no issue.
So, I did try to set up users and successfully added. Each time an appointment is booked with a particular doctor, the particular will be assigned with the same zoom account but s/he got a user role under that account. So this works?
One Zoom business account and multiple Users under this account which have to be connected to Employee's profiles in Amelia. Every time someone books an appointment, a new link is created with this particular Zoom User, and the host link and the attendee link are being automatically sent in email notifications to the Employee and the Customer respectively.
So, I've been trying to test the customer panel for a while. There are issues. When a new user books appointment, s/he doesn't receive a link to rest instead receives the amelia login page. It's really frustrating that no matter how much I try, the link doesn't take you to reset your password. So what to do?
Probably you test the Panel being logged in to your WP.
To test the panel, you should create a test Customer with an email address that was never used before in Amelia, book a test appointment, and access the Customer Panel in incognito mode. So, you have to imitate the process of a new Customer accessing the Panel for the first time.
Also, please make sure that you added the %customer_panel_url% placeholder to the Appointment Approved notification since as I mentioned before this is the way to let a new Customer set the password to the Panel, and not the Customer Panel Access notification.
Hi, The problem is resolved after I followed the steps. Can you tell me that why the working hours is not working till 24hrs? I can only see till 9:00 pm and after that I am unable to book anything?
Basically, each service can last up to 23h 30mins within the same day. So, it can't last until the morning of the next day even if it started in the evening and the duration doesn't exceed 23h 30mins.
If it's not the case, please check your Employee's working hours in the Employee's profile since a Service can't last longer than the Employee's working day.
Hey, so I have been testing the plugin yet, the Any employee option doesn't work suddenly. What it could be?
Also, I'd like to learn about the Automatic Amelia User Role. If I enable that, do the users see the amelia panel from the front-end or Wordpress account?
1. Could you please clarify what happened to this option? It's not visible at all or you just can't select it?
2. As far as I understand, you are referring to the option "Automatically create Amelia Customer user", is that correct? If so, then by enabling this option you will allow your Customers to access WP back-end since they will have WP "Amelia Customer" user role and access. Without this option, they will be able to access only the front-end Customer Panel.
Can you please clarify which service you are referring to?
I tested the Online Consultations category and it works just fine:
Please note that right after a time slot is selected, an Employee is being assigned to the Service automatically, so after clicking "Continue", on the next page you won't see "Any Employee" but the Employee's name.
We need to collect some testimonials from our customers who use Amelia for medical clinics.
So that would be really helpful if you provide us with a review and a testimonial for Amelia. In return, we will add the link to your website on Amelia's site (so, you will get a backlink)
Please let us know if you find this offer interesting.
So recently, I have been facing this issue in amelia with notifications. All of sudden nothing works of notification. The default template is empty and every other notification too. If I fill in and save, it won't save even the saved is displayed. Test email doesn't work. I have checked every resource on the amelia website. But nothing helps. Kindly help me out
Sorry for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.
Could you please make sure there's no other user (a Customer or an Employee) with the same email address that your Admin user has? If there is, please delete this Customer/Employee or change the email address, since Admin's email should be unique.
Also please note that if you use Grammarly or any other similar tool, it can cause a conflict, therefore you should disable it in order to see/edit notification templates.
If that doesn't help, please provide us with a temporary WP Admin login, so we will be able to investigate the issue from the inside.
How can someone use the same email address as admin when it will require authentication from the admin's side? Well, no one is using the admin email as their email. That is vague. The Grammarly app never created any problem before then why this is happening all of a sudden now?
There is a new issue I found out while testing the for that after submitting, it doesn't and won't take you to woo-commerce payment gateway but will direct you to the homepage.
Our website has been down for 4 days now. It's so disheartening.
Help me. Provide me with an email so i can give you access to the amelia.
It can happen very easily: an Admin can create a Customer with the same email address or book an Appointment on the front-end being logged in as Admin.
Grammarly was always causing issues, so we don't recommend to use it. For some reason, it doesn't happen all the time, but still quite often. It depends on many factors, and unfortunately, we can't test all possible configurations to say when it works and when it doesn't.

It is visible. But it is not working. If anyone selects the option, it is stuck on loading.
Nishita,
I can see and select the Any Employee option on this page: https://healthcare.wpamelia.com/services/
I didn't check all the Services but it worked with the Online Consultations category.
Can you please test it again in incognito mode? If it still doesn't work please specify which Services you are referring to.
