Hi – we have Amelia, and Stripe linked up as our payment portal. Is it possible to setup Amelia's Service Packages to be auto renewed on a monthly basis? How would we go about this please?
I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.
The suggestion has been forwarded to our management, and they'll check with our developers about adding the subscription-based feature in the future. At the moment, I don't have any ETA for this.
Thanks for forwarding on Aleksandar – however we'll need to implement this for our client, so will need to reach out to a developer. Presumably Stripe accommodates a renew process fairly easily once a customer is captured via Amelia, thereafter is the only way for Amelia to recognise a package renewal is by manually assign it back to the customer? Any guidance would be appreciated to help brief the developer.
Packages store customer's data, and the package's ID in wp_amelia_packages_to_customers and wp_amelia_payments database tables.
You would need to update these tables with each package renewal and that would be enough for Amelia. How you will set up that renewal, though, is not something I can provide. I hope it's enough.
