I'm using WpDataTables free version and would like to Purchase a Life time version but can I use this plugin to "SELECT" items that I want in a Word or Excel Report ??
Example: I have a Database of 1000 different items from which the User (Customer) can "SELECT" only those items that he likes to include in an Export report.
Since you're mentioning reports, I suppose you're referring to our paid add-on Report Builder?
If you are - it can export only what's currently displayed on the page (for server-side (manual, imported and SQL query-based) tables) or you can limit it to export only filtered data (if you enable "Follow table filtering" option when creating the report).
If you do this, your users would be able to filter the table, and then export it to include only filtered data in the report.
