I've read through all the tickets on packages and it seems what I'm about to ask is a common problem that hasn't yet been fixed.
I have trainers selling packages, both personal training and nutrition, some with add-ons, various prices, different numbers of appointments, etc., so our packages can be quite extensive. However, the trainer (Amelia Employee) doesn't have access to that package if they choose to schedule the client themselves, and the client's package count doesn't get adjusted. Therefore, the ONLY way is for the client to always schedule their appointments.
The Trainer (employee) SHOULD be able to schedule an appointment for their clients and have it access the package the client has already purchased.
Second thing is once the package has been created, and the using situation from above, where the trainer schedules the appointment and doesn't access the package, now we have NO WAY of going into the package and removing an available service or appointment or deleting any part of their package.
It seems as the ADMIN I should have full control over all aspects of these packages. I should be able to remove appointments, add appointments if deemed necessary, even cancel an entire package.
This is also creating a HUGE nightmare in accounting for us! We have to keep a separate spreadsheet with what each client purchases, the exact prices per appointment and then keep track of all pending appointments, whether the client scheduled or the trainer scheduled.
I can't even see how many packages have been purchased or which employee sold them or any real data about the packages.
The Packages feature's first version has been developed from a customer's perspective, as that's what we received as the most requested approach from our customers.
It has been designed so your customers are able to book multiple appointments for services through a package, so you can set up a different price for a package, providing discounts, or allowing your customers to book multiple appointments in one booking session. At the moment, you cannot book a package in your customer's stead, nor can you add appointments for a purchased package from the back-end.
You're selling a package, which offers (for example) 10 appointments for Service 1. If your customers book one appointment, they have the X amount of time (duration of the package) to book the remaining 9 sessions, and if they fail to do that, and the package expires, they need to purchase the package again, or book the service's appointments one at a time when they desire to.
The feature will develop more in the future, and your complaints have been noted, but at the moment, you cannot achieve what you're looking for with Amelia. Only appointments booked within a package can be cancelled, but the whole package cannot be cancelled; only customers can book remaining appointments from a package, not employees or administrators; pricing of appointments included in a package is not listed in the back-end, because it is assumed the price of the package is known, and the way of charging your customers is also known (whether the price is multiplied by the number of appointments, or if it is a custom price).
Our development team will work on all things you mentioned, but I don't have any ETA on when this will be included in the plugin. The only thing I can promise is that your feedback has been forwarded to our management and development team.

Same issue for me. It feels like they only thought about the frontend of packages and completely forgot about the backend admin side.
