    Hi, Kolbjorn!

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

Could you please provide us with temporary WP Admin access, so we will look into the issue from the inside? You can post the credentials as a reply to this ticket, just make sure you use private mode.

We don't interfere with any data except for the plugin and, of course, we don't provide login details to a third party.

    Best Regards.

    Hi, Kolbjorn!

Can you please provide the URL to the login page as well?

    Kolbjorn,

Which tool do you use for assigning multiple roles to your Users?

It might be that one of the additional Roles is conflicting with the Employee role, that's why the User can't be linked in Amelia Employee profile.

I am using Ultimet Member for the roles.. In addition I think Wordpress has upgraded on thi fort so we can have multipl roles.. ..also we use Brizy page editor the have resently opend for User managment functions..
    I dont know excatly..

But we had this problem before the changes in Worpress and Brizy..

I will review the diffrent user set up between "Birk" and the others.. We was able map "Brik" in the end..

FYI I have not had any further breakthrough looking at the user roles.. Still 0 matches for mapping the user as employees. The site is live, so we can not switch of the UM.. We also dont have any staging options currently.

    Kolbjorn,

I don't have experience with such a setup, since our customers mostly use the User Role Editor plugin, so I will have to consult with our developers regarding your case.

Also, can I create a test employee?

    OK, I see..

Yes, you may set one up.

So, I created a WP User with the only Role - Amelia Employee, and I was able to link this user to the new Employee in Amelia straight away.

You can see that on the Employees page.

I'll get back to you once I receive a response from our developers.

    Best Regards.

I did see the user registerd ..

I still can do this with existing n users.. even all values for the user is the same as your test user.

Only difference was that you test user was "pending" approval..

You can test with the user "August"

    Hi, Kolbjorn,

August was also added as Customer in Amelia, and any mixed roles can cause similar issues in Amelia. So, please delete this Customer user and try to link August to WP User again:

Also, please avoid creating Customers with email addresses that were used for Employees and vise versa.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

This is obviously not the issue..

The fact is that we cant create ANY employee out of the current 170 users.. Except your test user..

Ok, I have finally solved it!

We need to add the user int the Amelia employee role first, then we can map them. We did test this before, but made the incorrect conclusion that it did not work as we tested on a user that was previously a customer. Like you mention.

    Than you for the help.
