I have a client who is a solopreneur, so one employee. For now there are 2 services.
The first service is a 20 minute intake which is always done online via Zoom.
The second a 2 hour coaching session where we want the client to be able to choose: do it online via Zoom, or come to the office.
If the appointment is online a Zoomlink has to be added to the appointment, but that is not necessary (and confusing) if the appointment is at the office.
The available times (opening hours) can overlap on some days.
Zoom services need to be separate from Office services, because if you enable Zoom on one service, it will always automatically create and send a Zoom link to the customer even if you wanted that particular appointment to be an Office one.
Regarding the overlapping; it can happen only if you have two separate employees for a same service.
Ok, so now I have 2 services within the same category. One is a session online (with Zoom attached) and the other is a session at the office.
I want to show [ameliabooking category=2] so a user can choose between online and office, before selecting the date. However the wizard goes straight to the calendar and only shows online ... why is that?

Please check these points:
1. Is this service visible on the site?
2. If it is, is the employee assigned to these services?
3. If he is, check his working hours. Working hours where services are defined in the intervals will only show the services defined in there. Make sure these two services are also included.
4. Did you assign the employee to another location? If you did, please go to Amelia/Locations, and make sure that the location is visible.

You can have this pre-filled, sure; depending on which page editor you are using, you can either put Amelia Booking block / Widget, and select Preselect Booking Parameters, or use a shortcode [ameliabooking location=1 category=1 service=1] (1 here is the ID number of the location, category, and service, as you only have 2 locations the other one will be ID 2).
In this way, one Amelia wizard with location 1 will only show parameters for that location, specific category, and specific service.
Nice to hear that the video helped. But your answer does not answer my question. The way you describe it I need to add 2 wizards to the page. One prefilled for online and one prefilled for the office location. That's what we don't want. We want one wizard which shows both options for sessions.
If I choose online, I need location to be prefilled with online zoom as there is only one option to choose from. Why not enter that by default? Etc.
That is very strange because it's a default - one window that offers all choices; usually having separate ones takes customization.
I couldn't recreate it from our side so please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

These fields are unfortunately obligatory to select in order to see the location.
However, it's not obligatory to choose them since that's the only location it will be applied automatically; you can even hide this whole field (Location).
they can be hidden only on all pages I'm afraid; also, you could alternatively preselect all those options so that these options don't even show for selecting, however you have previously advised that this would not be convenient.
