On a mobile device, the filter box above the table is not showing completely. It's hard to see the filtered value that has been selected within the box.
How do I apply css to this object so it's visible on mobile devices. See attached image.
Since we cannot reproduce this on our devices, I can offer you some custom css but cannot guarantee it will work. You also may have to change the numbers to fit what you're trying to accomplish.
We tested this on iPhone 5, and it worked without issues, but when using browserstack and an iPhone 11 in Safari, it doesn't display filters at all.
Unfortunately, through browserstack I can't test the CSS provided by Milan in the last response, so can you try adding that and check the page? If it doesn't work, we'll need to wait for him to get back (he'll be out of office until next Monday, unfortunately).
Can someone else take over the ticket if Milan is not available? My client can’t go live with the website until this is fixed and we are already 3 weeks behind due to another bug that you guys fixed.
This isn’t good if I have to wait another week. Then wait longer for Milan to figure it out. That doesn’t work for me or my client.
Can this issue be escalated?
It’s making me look reallly bad because I picked this solution for my client’s website and it’s not working out so far.
The issue I'm having here is that I can't modify the elements in browserstack's page inspection, so I can't say for sure which one will work, or if it actually does work.

Hi Bruce,
Thank you for your purchase.
Can you please tell me which device do you use?
We just checked with android and everything seems fine (attachment)
Best regards.

Hi ,
Ok, interesting. My issue was with the iphone. My client has an iphone and experienced that same.
Thanks
Bruce
FYI, we are trying to go-live with our website tomorrow and need this issue resolved before go-live.
Please escalate this issue.
Thanks
Bruce
Hi,
Any update of this issue? I'm really in a crunch for this to work.
Thanks
Bruce

I'm assuming you tried with an iphone and with the different browsers because everyone on my team and the client are getting what I've described.
Thanks
Bruce

Hi Aleksandar,
Thanks! The CSS Milan gave me didn’t work.

Hi,
Will someone be able to take this ticket over since Milan in not available until next week?
Please escalate.
Thanks
Bruce
I'd love to help, Bruce, but Milan is the only developer for wpDataTables.
We have a junior developer who I will send this to, but I can't promise anything.

Hi Bruce
From what we can see there is a custom CSS on the page which is overriding what we originally sent you, so you can try adding this
so this CSS would be applied.
Do let us know if this works.
Hi Blazenka,
Thanks for the support.
I added the css you gave me but it hasn’t made a difference.
Please see the attachment.
Thanks
Bruce
Hi again Bruce
Either Browserstack updated, or I didn't do something correctly the first time, but I just logged in again and found what's causing this:
On an iPhone 11, in Safari, when this is disabled, it looks like this:
Is this added somewhere with custom CSS?
If you don't have it added as custom CSS, try overwriting it with this:
If that doesn't work, try this:
The issue I'm having here is that I can't modify the elements in browserstack's page inspection, so I can't say for sure which one will work, or if it actually does work.

Hi Aleskandar,
Thanks for the support!
I've tried the CSS and it hasn't changed anything yet.
Any other ideas?
Hi Aleksandar,
Looks like I found the class the will help.
.column-region{
height:50px !important;
}
This seems to work.
I'll continue to test and let you know if it continues to work.
Thanks for your support!!
That's good to hear, Bruce, thanks for letting me know.
That's not coming from wpDataTables, though. Do you know where that is coming from, the theme, Elementor, some other plugin? I'm just curious.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

No problem!
Seems like wpDataTables to me. See the attached.
Thanks
Bruce
That's the correct section, Bruce, so it seems you applied the height to the column titled "region", that's why the selection is column-region.
If this works fine, you can keep it, but keep an eye on it, and let me know if it affects other sections of the site.
