I have a large list of product names and their corresponding urls. I have created a column using "product_url||product title" but the wpDataTables sort is on the url and not the product title. This makes the sort meaningless as the url is based on barcodes and EANs. Is there a workaround to sort on the display value of the column instead? Having two separate columns doesn't look very nice.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your purchase.
Sorry to disappoint you but unfortunately URL columns are sorted on the first letter at the moment, not by the title of it.
We will try to improve this for some future updates.
Kind Regards,
