Reservations by days and by hours

I am thinking about buying your plugin "Amelia" but first I want to ask a couple of questions to know if it would suit what I need.

With your plugin is it possible to make reservations by time interval? In other words, the client can reserve a space and choose how many hours he wants to reserve it.

On the other hand, is it also possible to make reservations by days?

The intention I have is to create a service where the customer can book by hours a soccer field (for example) and another service where the customer can book a space for days to make celebrations.

    Thank you very much

    Hi, Marc!

Sorry for the delayed response, it was a National holiday in our country.

And thank you for your inquiry.

    1. I'm afraid, at the moment each Service and Event should have a pre-set duration in Amelia. There's a workaround: if you use Services, then you can set Extras to each Service, and these Extras will have a duration and a price. Thus, let's say the original duration of the Service is 1h and the price is $10, and then there are 5 available Extras, each of them has a duration of 1h and a price of $5, so by choosing 2 Extras the Customer will get the total duration of 3h and total price of $20.

However, this workaround works only with Services, Events don't support Extras.

    2. In Amelia, a Service can last up to 23h 30mins, and an Event can last for multiple days. But as I mentioned, Events is supposed to have a pre-set duration, and there's no workaround to fix it.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Best Regards.

Thank you very much for your reply!

I have another question, what languages does Amelia speak? I need her to be available in Catalan

    Hi, Marc!

    I'm glad I could help.

I'm afraid, at the moment Catalan isn't included in Amelia's languages.

However, you can translate Amelia with POEDIT or Loco Translate yourself. We will provide you with a step-by-step guide on how to do it. To be honest, that's how we got all our translations except for the English one: our users kindly shared with us the files that they translated, so we were able to add them to Amelia.

    Best Regards.
