We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I am using your Aqua Skin. It looked great UNTIL we changed the column type to float.
Now the column widths are messy and inconsistent. Also, there is a weird double border on the rows of some columns.
Please provide a solution. Thank you!
Hi April
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Sorry for the late response, we're Christian Orthodox, so we had non-working days for Easter.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Hi April
Thank you for the information.
We have tried to recreate the issue but with no success. In the backend we are not able to see any issues with that specific table.
wpDataTables is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) concept-based plugin. This means that the table should look the same both in the back-end and in the front-end. If your front-end table looks and behaves differently than in the back-end, this usually implies that there is another plugin (or the current theme) that's changing the behavior of our plugin.
Issues like this usually occur when there is a conflict either with the theme currently active on your website, or another plugin you have installed.
Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved? If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be). If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue reoccurred. Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.
We have created a test page and added the same shortcode for this table and the table renders fine, as you can see in the link below
http://dropthecube.com/3340-2/
Do let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thank you for your troubleshooting. I followed your recommendations and discovered that wpDataTables and Elementor are in conflict. This is a problem because our entire site is being built with the Elementor tool. In fact wpDataTables has a widget for Elementor.
You demonstrated that it is possible to display your tables by using the standard WordPress publishing tools. However, this will mean that any page that we choose to use a wpDataTable, we can't style with a template and use other powerful and dynamic tools on that page.
Please advise.
I have an additional update. I did some further testing and the formatting issues only appear when BOTH Elementor AND Dynamic OOO are activated. When only one of them are activated, the table looks fine.
Any advice?
Hi April
Unfortunately issues like conflicts with third party plugins or themes are always possible due to the nature of WP, and it might take significant time to investigate and replicate the issue on our side, to be able to find the source of the problem, especially when the plugin or theme is not familiar to us.
