Hello, I'm planning to build a driving school booking management system to book in-person lessons. I need a booking system where customers can pay for their 5 lessons package via the website and then when they pay get their on Login details for their account.
When they log in they should be able to book their 5 appointments (unless the admin increases the amount for the client in the admin dashboard) when they want to and not all at once in one session. Does Amelia have these features?
And also does Amelia have custom field setup for bookings which customers can't modify only the admin, like when the driving school chooses if the student will be doing a road lesson or parking lesson.
Yes, it is possible with the Packages of Services in Amelia. It is a feature that allows creating packages of multiple appointments (of the same or different services). In that case, the services that are included in the package and the number of appointments will be fixed, and the price will be set for the whole package. You can see more information here. Please note that the Packages feature is only available for Amelia Pro and Developer licenses.
We do have Custom fields in Amelia, but they can't be set the way that only Admin or Employees can fill them. Basically, they were created to collect additional information about a Customer and provide it to the Staff members, and not vise versa.

Do these bookings within the packages need to made immediately after purchasing the package or can the client login at a later stage and book them as time goes by and also can the admin make a time limit of how late a client can make a reschedule of their booking for e.g. the latest 48 hours before the lesson? And let say a customer wants to purchase 1or 5 additional lessons how would that be implemented then? Will it be 2 seperate additional packages then?
You can choose how many appointments have to be booked at the moment of the purchase. The number can be even 0, in this case, your Customers will be able to pay for the Package and book all the appointments included later.
Also, it is possible to reschedule appointments within the particular time period that can be set for each Service separately.
I believe that additional appointments can be booked outside of the packages or as a part of the other package since each package has a pre-set number of appointments, and there's no option to modify it after the purchase.
Also, Customers can see and manage their appointments and Packages on the Customer Panel. You can see how it works on our demo site here.
