I'm currently rebuilding my site using the Divi Builder. However, the Amelia plug-in doesn't work too well with it and I'm wondering if there is a way to fix that. Right now the amelia plug-in is "bunched" up and the buttons/links are right next to or on top of each other, which will make it difficult for clients to book.

    Hi, Alyson!

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

It could happen that Amelia's CSS wasn't applied correctly.

Please open the Customize page, click on "Reset" and then on "Save". That should resolve the issue.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Liza,

    It still is acting funny.

Because I am using DIVI, not gutenberg blocks, I have to use the short code. Could that be the reason?

    Thanks,
    Alyson

    Hi, Alyson!

No, the shortcodes are absolutely identical to the blocks, so it can't be the issue.

Could you please send us the URL to the booking page?

    Best Regards.

    Hi, Alyson!

    Sorry for the delayed response.

It seems like there's no enough space for Amelia on the page. This block is quite small, so I believe Amelia just can't "squeeze in". We, probably, can change the font size with custom CSS, but then it will be too hard to read. Could you please try to add Amelia on an empty page, so we will make sure there's no conflict with another plugin or some other reason for that.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Liza,

I updated the page and put the scheduler down at the bottom.

I also reset the customization and it is still having issues:

    Hi, Alyson!

Most probably, this issue is coming from SG Optimizer. Please, update this plugin, update Amelia as well and clear the site's cache. That should resolve the issue.

If that doesn't help, then please provide us with a temporary WP Admin login, so we will be able to look into the issue from the inside. You can post the credentials as a reply to this ticket, just make sure you use private mode. We don't interfere with any data except for the plugin and, of course, we don't provide login details to a third party.

    Best Regards.

    Hi, Alyson!

    Thank you for the credentials.

Our developers need you to duplicate your site and send it to us - so they will try to find a solution to how Amelia and Divi builder can work together.

For that, you can use the Duplicator plugin and upload the file to one of the file-sharing services.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

  • Alyson replied

    Hi Liza,

I'm not able to upload it without paying for the plug-in.

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi, Alyson,

Please make sure you uploaded the correct Duplicator plugin.

What does the plugin shows when you try to duplicate the site? If it's some storage-related Notice, just ignore it.

    Best Regards.

  • Alyson replied

Yes, that is the same one and it has been building a package for over a day with no progress.

    Alyson,

    Thank you for the screenshots.

That's weird...let me consult with my colleagues since I'm not sure what can cause the issue here.

I will get back to you at the earliest possible time.

  • Alyson replied

    Thank you!

I have an additional question. Is there anyway to remove the event rsvp count from the front end? That way people don't see how many already RSVPd?

    Thanks!

    Hi, Alyson!

It seems like your site is too large for the free version of the Duplicator plugin. So, please provide us with FTP credentials and the database access, and we will try to fix the issue without site duplication.

I'm not sure I understood what the RSVP stands for in this context. Do you mean reserved spots?

    Best Regards.

  • Alyson replied

    See attached.

I mean the RSVP capacity for events.

    Hi, Alyson!

Sorry for the delayed response, it was a National holiday in our country.

    1. How do you access the database? Do you use cPanel, PhpMyAdmin, or any other tool? I couldn't find it on your site. We need the database access credentials also.

    2. Ok, thank you for the clarification. We had a JS for hiding booked places, but I tested it and it seems like it doesn't work anymore, so I send it back to our developers. I will let you know once they reply to me.

Also, we can hide the Capacity (both booked and available places) with custom CSS:

    .am-event-sub-info-capacity {display: none !important;}

Just in case, maybe it will be a suitable solution for you as well.

If you need help with adding custom CSS to the page, please take a look at this article.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi again, Alyson!

Our developer fixed the script. Now it shows only available places and hides booked spots:

    <script>window.ameliaBooking = {  replaceText: function () {    var elements = document.getElementsByClassName('am-event-sub-info-capacity');    if (elements.length && ameliaIntervalId) {      clearInterval(ameliaIntervalId);    }    for (var i = 0; i < elements.length; i++) {      var elementImg = elements[i].getElementsByTagName('img')[0];      var elementText = elements[i].textContent;      var str1 = elementText.substr(0, elementText.lastIndexOf(":"));      var str2 = elementText.substr(elementText.lastIndexOf("/") + 1);      var textNode = document.createTextNode(str1 + str2);      elements[i].innerHTML = '';      elements[i].appendChild(elementImg);      elements[i].appendChild(textNode);    }  }}var ameliaIntervalId = setInterval(window.ameliaBooking.replaceText, 500);</script>

If you need help with adding custom JS to the page, please take a look at this article.

So you can either use the CSS I provided you with earlier to hide the whole Capacity info, or this script to hide only booked places.

    Best Regards.
