Hi, I have 2 issues I'm dealing with and I'm not sure how to deal with it :
1. When a customer buys a packages of services, how do I send him a email? It only sends a zoom link if the customer buys 1 service instead of a package.
2. When a customer books a service of package of services, he's not getting any message about the customer information and password. In role settings I have automatically create amelia customer enable and options enabled.
I noticed that the customer login details are sent in spam folder. Also it sends ''wordpress user login details information''. Is it possible to send Amelia user information instead?
1. You need to configure and enable the "Package Purchased" email notification. %package_appointments_details% placeholder can be configured below the email template.
2. To send the customer to the Customer panel, you need to add the %customer_panel_url% placeholder to your email notifications. When they click on the URL for the first time, they will be presented with a window to create the password, which will later be used to log into the panel.
WordPress user login is an email that WordPress sends. If you don't want to create a new WordPress user for your customers, please disable "Automatically create Amelia Customer user" in Amelia Settings/Roles/Customer.
What Notification settings are you using? If you're on PHP Mail, please change it. We recommend using SMTP, but if emails go into SPAM with that as well, please take a look at this thread to see how you can stop emails from going into SPAM.
Works now, but I am not sure I understand the ''Automatically create Amelia Customer user'' option. What I understand is : if I don't enable the option, the user will only be able to login in the customer panel. If I enable the option, the user will be able to login in the customer panel but also in wordpress dashboard.
Also is there an option where the user is ''Already a client? Login here'' when booking for another appointment? Because it could be confusing for the client to have to reenter his name , and email
You understand correctly, that's exactly how it works.
At the moment, there's no option like that, but you can create a button with a hyperlink above the booking form. For example, before booking, you can add that button "Login here", and have that button take your customers to Amelia's Front-end Customer Panel.
is it possible for the customer to book a new appointment inside the Customer Panel?
Because if I create an hyperlink above booking form and send the customer to login to his customer panel, he will have to go back to the previous page to book a new appointment. It could be rather confusing for the user.
if it it's not possible, is it possible to add a button inside the customer panel to send the user to the booking page/form?
It's not possible to book an appointment from the customer panel. You can try adding the booking form's shortcode below the shortcode of the panel, so they can book an appointment on the same page.
Before making this public, please test it, as it can cause issues with either the panel or the booking form, but the issue is not occurring on all websites, so I can't say for sure if it will work or not.
