The Front-end Customer Panel has been introduced in January 2020. Your customers do need to log into their accounts, though, in order to keep their data for new bookings.
It's not possible to book anything from the customer panel, Sara, that is correct, but when your customers log in, they can navigate to the booking page, and their details will be prefilled.
Also, you can try adding the booking form's shortcode below the shortcode of the customer panel, so they can book an appointment on the same page.
If you enable the phone to be a mandatory field, your new customers will be saved with that phone number, so they would not need to add it, but the directions would have to be added each time.
Your existing customers can be edited through Amelia/Customers, so if you add the number to your existing customers, when they log in, and book another appointment, the phone number will also be added, just like for new customers.
Our developers will work on custom fields in the future, making them related to the customer instead of the appointment, so when that's developed, they won't need to enter directions every time either. Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA on that yet, but it is planned.
is it planned on the roadmap to develop user panel? is frustraiting for the user to have to fill al the same data all the time.
