It's a very good question. Unfortunately, there are no two absolutely identical WP configurations. Hostings, other plugins, page builders and themes, customizations on the front-end and back-end - all these things can affect Amelia's (and any other plugin's) performance. And to check all the possible scenarios will take us ages. Literally. That's why it's extremely hard to avoid errors and bugs.
Please open a separate ticket, and we will investigate your case as well.
It's not the update, it's the change of the IP address of smsapi.wpamelia.com domain source.
As I responded to Marios before, you should ask your hosting provider to allow HTTP requests from 116.203.87.139.
Since the issue just occurred, we don't have that much data on it, but in most cases it worked.
Your ticket wasn't assigned to me, but I will inform my colleague that it's the same issue, so our engineers can investigate it along with Marios' case.
That's what I was saying: in most cases it works, but since we don't have enough information on the issue yet, we can't explain why it didn't work in yours.
Please provide us with a database login and SMS account login as well, our developers will add a fix to your site.
Again poroblem with the sms... Nor sending nor loading. Problems all the time..
Hi, Marios!
I'm sorry to hear that.
Please ask your hosting provider to allow HTTP requests from 116.203.87.139 (it's the new IP address of smsapi.wpamelia.com domain source).
That should receive the issue.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
And why haven't been notified?
Marios,
Because it should cause no issue, but however sometimes it does.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, Adam!
Thank you for choosing Amelia.

Sorry for this inconvenience.

Adam,
It's not the update, it's the change of the IP address of smsapi.wpamelia.com domain source.

And as i told you the http request didn¨t fix the problem.

Marios,
There is some news from our team.
Our developers added a fix, please upload it through FTP to the ameliabooking folder.
After that, the SMS account login page should be visible. Please try to log in.
And if that doesn't work (if timeout in connection to http://smsapi.wpamelia.com/ occurs) please ask your hosting provider to PING http://smsapi.wpamelia.com/.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi, Adam!
I'm sure my colleague will answer you as soon as possible.
I already provided the fix to Marios, please take a look at my reply below.
Best Regards.
