Sorry for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.
And thank you for choosing Amelia.
Could you please send us some screenshots of your Package Settings? At the moment it's not completely clear to me how it can work this way.
Basically, a Package has one pre-set price and also a pre-set number of appointments. So, let's say, it's 10 appointments for $150 (when a regular price is $20 per appointment). And if a Customer selects a Package, he/she will have to buy all the appointments at once, and also they will have only included 10 appointments, so 11th appointment won't be included there, they will have to book it separately.
An example would be: I want my package consist of 10 appointments. But a customer wants to book 12 appointments per year, so 1 per month. He would select the first appointment and repeat it 11 times more. Now what happens is, that he pays 12x the original price.
My general idea/understanding of the packages would be that once the user reaches 10 appointments he would be charged the package price automatically. In this case he would pay the reduced price of the 10-package plus 2 regular.
But this seems to be not possible with Amelia. The customer has to buy the package and pay and afterwards pay another time for the last 2 appointments. This is not very userfreindly.
Also it seems to be impossible for the user to buy 2 packages at one time?
That's correct: at the moment it's impossible to book multiple appointments at once. It's on our to-do list, but I can't tell you precisely when exactly this feature will be implemented.
The thing is: Packages have slightly different logic. You have to pre-set the number of appointments and the price, and Customers will have to buy the whole package at once, and then they will be able to book included appointments (if you don't set it the way they have to book all the appointments at the moment of purchase). So, if you want 12 appointments to be available, then you have to set 12 appointments since this number will be fixed. Also, you can set a custom price that is lower than the original one (that's the whole point of packages, isn't it):
Hello,
I have set a service and a service package. The package consist of 10 bookings.
I thought when a user selects 10 appointments to book, the package price would be used, because I have set the package to a reduced price.
But instead, when the user selects 10 appointments, he/she still gets the same price without the package rate.
How can this be changed?
Also when a user buys 11 appointments, he/she should be charged the package price + 1 regular service.
Many thanks in advance for your help.
