As a Spa centre, we need to book 2 employees on couple massage appointment.
I don't figure out how to set up the service in that way.

However I saw in your demo website the config I need...
'Couples massage' on your beauty demo website

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hello Mike

    Thank you for your purchase.

At the moment, there's no way to book two employees for the same appointment. The only workaround we have at this moment is to configure Google Calendar integration, and then link both employees to the same Google Calendar.

That way, when one employee is booked, both employees' time slots are blocked, and can't be used for booking anymore.

    I hope that helps.

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Aleksandar.

The solution you proposed is not ok because it will be blocking for the business. We have both services with our 2 employees and with only one, so, blocking the time slot of the other employee is not a viable option.

Although, I wonder how did you configured the services in your demo (see attachment)

    https://beauty.wpamelia.com/our-services/

This is what I need to do. some services with employee #1 or #2 and some services with both of them (for instance a couple massage)

I guess if you did it on your demo, it is possible to do for us as well.

This is very important for our business and without a solution, the plugin is useless - and we loose 166€... :-(

    Kind regards.

    Hello again Mike

The service you see on our demo website only shows two employees that offer this service, but when you enter it, you still need to choose an employee:

So, there's no way to have two employees work on one appointment, even on our demo sites. It is a feature that we need to add, definitely, but I can't say when it will be added.

How many employees do you have? Are they all working on couple massages? Do you want to allow your customers to choose masseurs?

I can try thinking of a workaround for you, but I can't promise anything, so I need as many details as you can offer about the business.

    Hi Aleksandar,

Thank you for your response, i hope you'll find a workaround !

We have 2 employees and both of them can work on single massage and couple massage. So we need our customers to be able to choose sometimes a single massage service (with one employee) and another time a couple massage (with 2 employees)

Of course the idea is to optimize the workload in the planning and avoid the manager having to make adjustments all the day (for instance, cancelling a single massage to have 2 people available for the couple session). To explain you how we want to have the planning filled in, I prepared a picture showing a planning of the two employee with both single and couple massage appointments (see screenshot).

If we cannot find a way to make it work I will have to cancel this project... that would be very sad because I really trust in your plugin as a game changer for this business.

Thanks in advance for your help !

    Hello again Mike

I understand what you're trying to do, but at the moment it just isn't possible.

    Here's what I tried:

I created two employees who would work as individuals, and they each have their own Google Calendar. Then, I created an employee that would represent these two employees, and linked that employee to his Google Calendar. Individual calendars were shared with this "Couples" calendar, and the "Couples" calendar was shared with each of those employee's calendars.

That share is working fine, meaning if I create an appointment for one employee, that employee, and the "Couples" calendar receive a busy event in their Google Calendars, and if an appointment is created for the "Couples" calendar, both individual employees receive a busy event also.

The issue here is that Amelia can only choose one Google Calendar for each employee, so sharing the calendar between accounts is working event-sharing-wise through Google Calendars, but Amelia can't see that event coming from a separate account.

We discussed this possibility yesterday, and our developers will work on it in the future, but I can't say when it will be available. The whole logic of the plugin has to be changed, and an issue occurs when there are more than 2 employees assigned to a service, so a lot of thought needs to be put into this before even getting to the code.

I'm sorry to say that, after an hour of trying to find a workaround, I failed, and there's simply no way to make it work. If there was a way to duplicate busy events, not share them between calendars, that could work.

    Kind Regards,
