1. I would like to be able to offer a reduced price price for the second booking if a recurring booking is booked - is this possible?
2. I would like to show the categories in the booking wizard as well as the services - the category of service justifies the price so it would be useful to have the category showing too.
3. I would like to have a check box for accepting our terms and conditions before the bookings are made - is it possible to include a link to the terms and conditions within the booking form?
Sorry for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.
And thank you for choosing Amelia.
1. I'm afraid, at the moment the price can't be changed dynamically (so, to be reduced after the first booking). But it can be achieved by using Coupons. You can create them the way your Customers will receive a coupon with let's say 10% discount that they can use only one time for this particular Service. You can find more information on Coupons here.
2. In Amelia, different views were created for different purposes. That's why only the Catalog view has the Category selection since it was meant to start the booking process with Categories and Services presentation. The Booking wizard view doesn't have this option.
3. Sure!
To add a link to Terms & Conditions, you need to add the "Text Content" custom field, like this:
Then, you need to add a mandatory check-box custom field, where they have to agree with the terms and conditions when they book:
Thank you for your response - in respect of point 2 - is there any CSS I could use to simply include the category on the booking page so that it shows all of the details of the booking eg. date, time, employee, service and category?
Can you also confirm whether the terms and conditions can appear as a modal so that customers do not have to go through the entire booking process again if they click onto it please.
I'm afraid, it can't be added with a simple CSS since it will change the structure of the page. Maybe it can be solved by adding this information outside of Amelia. Or by using the Catalog view?
The Terms and Conditions will be opened as a page, so if you want it to open in a new tab automatically and you have no other settings on your WordPress that open links in new tabs, you should use:
