Hi,
Could you please tell us is it possible to connect to MS SQL SERVER DATABASE for pulling data to wpdatatables plugin?
Hello Yana
Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
In wpDataTables settings, in the Separate DB Connection tab, you need to add the host, username, password, port, database name, and connect to it.
Then, when creating a new table, you would be able to choose that separate DB connection in the drop-down menu. A prerequisite for using the separate DB feature is, of course, the installation of drivers required for databases you need:
These drivers need to be installed and activated on the server where your WordPress website is. After you install and activate those drivers, it should work fine.
If you're not sure how to install the drivers, please reach out to your hosting provider.
You can also test the feature on our sandbox site.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
