I am having trouble setting up the integration to google calendar. The redirect URL given by Amelia has http but when they ask for the redirect on the google cloud platform it says that it must have https... So it comes up as invalid. Then when I try to actually link my calendar of course it comes up as an error.
The URI doesn't have to be https, it can be http, but the URI needs to match your website's URL.
We've just released the detailed video tutorial about this, so please take a look:
The website we worked on is a development website, so you will not be able to modify the Redirect URI directly. If you need to modify it, please go to Amelia Settings/Integrations/Google Calendar (or Outlook calendar; or both) and right-click/inspect on the Redirect URI field. Then, modify the highlighted line and delete "readonly="readonly"". After that, you will be able to change the URI right there, through settings.
That's it, just save the new settings.
If you have more issues with this, or if you have any questions, please let me know.
So I did what you suggested and it seemed to work. My Amelia calendar still has not synced with my google calendar. Does it take a certain amount of time to sync up?
Existing appointments from Amelia will not be created in Google Calendar, but only the new appointments made after the integration has been established. Also, the integration only works for Appointments, not events.
Busy events from Google Calendar will be removed from your employee's availability.

Can you show me what doesn't work?
