We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

Phone number field prefilled

    When booking an appointment we made the phone number mandatory.

    When someone selects a country flag/country code, a phone number (which is mandatory) is prefilled which the user has to type over. This happens in both firefox as well as internet explorer. The fact that a phone number is shown in this field, totally confuses the users. When selecting Germany it shows 01512 3456789 and for Switzerland it will show 078 123 45 67. Any idea how we can make sure the text box for the phone number remains empty?

    Hi, Julia!

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

    Please try to add this JavaScript to the page with Amelia:

    <script>
      window.beforeConfirmBookingLoaded = function () {
        var field = document.querySelector("#am-confirm-booking > div:nth-child(1) > form > div.am-confirm-booking-data.el-row > div:nth-child(6) > div > div > div > input");

        setTimeout(function () {
          field.setAttribute('placeholder', '');
        }, 500);

        var elements = document.getElementsByClassName("el-select-dropdown__item");

        for (var i = 0; i < elements.length; i++) {
          elements[i].addEventListener(
            'click',
            function() {
              field.setAttribute('placeholder', '');
            }
          );
        }
      }
    </script>

    Hope that will resolve the issue.

    Best Regards.
