We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

I am importing a large table of documents from excel where the first column is document category. Each document category then has multiple documents within the category, i.e. the category 'Leadership and worker Participation' has 6 documents as shown on the attachment.

I have worked out how to group documents under their categories, unfortunately this creates a massive table displaying all the documents .

What i want to do is just show each category and then click on the category to show all the documents within it. Wordpress does this with Accordian plugins where all the data has to be added manually.

Is there a way to create this using your table functionality, I know you can show all then filter, what i want to do is show the categories and then expand to show the files within each category?

    Hello Chris.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately something like this is not possible with the plugin's built-in features.

To make it look similar to this, the only way would be to have the "Category" in one column, and all documents saved as columns next to this column. Then, you could use the Responsiveness feature, hiding all those other columns on tablets. In wpDataTables settings, you can set the tablet's width to be 2000 (for example), so all screens below 2.000px in width are considered as tablets, and all those columns are hidden on all screens.

    Kind Regards,
