We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
Due to corona, we have for all our 8 shops 1 service: "appointment" which is 30 minutes. For every location, there is 1 (sometimes 2, because extra workers on Saturdays) employees. The employee is in theory the shop: opening hours and capacity due to corona (capacity of the 23 shops vary from 2 to 50).
For visitors, the 'choose employee' option is hidden. Visitors choose location.
But now, we would like to add shorter appointments as well, for a 'pick-up point' so it should not interfere with the capacity.
I'm struggling how to do this. Because the calendar is already pretty full. I see 2 options:
1. new system: make a copy of this site (easy for me, is multisite), call it 'pick-up point' and change capacitys and times. -> Let visitors FIRST choose which appointment they want to make.
2. Integrate in current system. But how? I can't use a 2nd service with shorter time, because this blocks appointments of 30 minutes. I am thinking: Make new employees for all locations without (or other) max capacities. But this will effect the front: I will have to show the employee section, and name employee 1: long appointment, and employee 2: short appointment.
What do you think about this? I'm not so happy adding so much 'virtual' employees.
Regards, Myra
Hi Myra,
thank you for reaching out to us.
I understand the difficulty of the situation - your schedule is already set and you have active appointments.
Unfortunately due to connections (employee work hours and service duration), and the blocking that happens, having more employees would be the only option.
When your employee is assigned to two or more services, when an appointment is booked in one, that time will become unavailable in others - as employee cannot perform more services at the same time.
I apologize, I am unable to make any suggestions than that one that you already proposed, Myra - in order to have another shorter service that can be booked, but still have all 30 minute slots available in the other service, they need to be performed by different employees.
