The text in the column "Beschreibung" is cut off after a specific amount of characters. I cannot find a way to avoid this. I would like to have an option to limit the number of lines to 5 and end the last line with an ellipsis if possible.

How are you creating the table? If it is a table created by importing data from an existing data source you can try creating a new column, but make it multi-line string. If the text is longer than 255 characters, that could be causing the issue because single-line strings are VARCHAR with 255 character limit, while multi-line strings are TEXT with around 65.000 character limit.
You can either create a new table and set the column type to Multi-line string, or you will need to find this column in the database, and change its type from VARCHAR(255) to TEXT.
