We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Dear TMS team,
On March 26 at 17.30 pm we had a double booking.
This never happened before, but is a great problem as 2 customers show up at the same time.
Please let me know how this could happen.
Attached is a screenshot
Thank you,
Kind Regards,
Liza Hamawy
Check Amelia > Settings > Appointments
"Allow booking over maximum capacity. Make sure that is OFF.
If it is on, appointments may not update the front-end calendar until they are marked as approved!
OR, maybe the class has more than one slot available?
Thanks for your assistance, Jacob, we appreciate that!
Liza, if that doesn't help, please tell me what's used as the payment method. If you're using WooCommerce, please check WooCommerce's order related to this appointment, and see if they are perhaps made at the same time.
If one customer booked an appointment, and the payment went through at 12:00:00, and another customer did the same thing at 12:00:24, there's a possibility that this caused the double booking. Amelia creates an appointment when WooCommerce saves the order as "On Hold", "Processing" or "Complete", so if they paid for the appointment at roughly the same time, Amelia didn't see a blocked appointment, so it allowed two bookings.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Thank you both so much for the reply.
"Allow booking over maximum capacity is set to OFF.
The service price is 0,- but indeed the payment method is woocommerce.
I have changed this to - payment onsite,- hope it helps
